Since @staff introduced their adult content algorithm last year, this sort of thing hasn’t been uncommon for me. It is a nuissance, but probably wouldn’t ever result in my blog disappearing. Although I feel relatively safe, I find the new ban on adult content to be concerning for many reasons, all of which have been more eloquently and completely addressed by other people like @wilwheaton. It seems to me that the best path to a ”better, more positive Tumblr“ would be to ban Nazis instead of nipples (female-presenting or otherwise).
I’ve had several uniform plates flagged before, and they haven’t been appealed in 4+ months despite sending multiple emails. Tumblr really enjoys shooting itself in the foot over and over again
